FAQ / Support

How do I unlock my screen saver?
When you registered your screen saver you should have received an email with your registration key. Go to the screen saver properties (start/settings/control panel/display/screen saver tab/select appropriate screen saver and click properties). You will see something similar to the image on the right, depending on which screen saver you have purchased. Enter Your Registration Name and Your Registration Key and hit OK. Time limit is gone and all images appear full size. Please Note: This registration system is case sensitive. You must enter your name exactly as you did when you purchased it. If you have any problems, please email me at shane@wadewitz.com and I'll straighten it out.
How do I remove an unwanted screen saver?

If you decide not to keep my screen savers, they can be easily removed using the Add/Remove Programs function in Control Panel.
What is the Screen Saver Control Utility? How do I remove it?
This utility puts an icon in your system tray allowing you to quickly configure, launch, disable or randomy pick any screen saver on your computer. Launch it by right clicking on the icon shaped like a monitor with a moon on it. I included it in Coastal Carolina Volume One but I left it out of all of my screen savers since to reduce file size for downloading.
So, how do I get rid of it?: The utility is made up of one file, FSSCRCTL.EXE. This file should be located in your Windows directory, there is also a shortcut to it in your startup folder in the start menu. Right click on the icon, select unload. Then use find files to locate FSSCRCTL.EXE. Delete this file and delete the shortcut to it in the start menu. If you download other slide show screen savers similar to mine, you may find several copies of this file as a lot of people use the same tool I do to create screen savers from their photos.
